Indira Zaveri

Ba left this life peacefully with her family by her side in Rajkot during the night on the 11th of December. She was 93 years old and in those years she filled the world with joy and laughter. Ba was many things; strong, formidable, intelligent, charismatic, gentle, loving and kind. She lifted moods and inspired her spirit everywhere she went, from Africa to the UK to India, she was everyone’s Ba. She loved her family, she loved laughing and she loved her chai. She lived a youthful life travelling the world, staying sharp, active and independent to her very last months.

It is impossible to know that she will not be here by our side to share our joys and support us through our lives as she has always done. Though she was small she took up so much space in our hearts. Her love will always live on in the spirits of the many lives that she has touched with her warmth. We will treasure the beautiful memories that we were so fortunate to have made over the years and continue her legacy through the many lessons that she taught us.
